Stripe is another alternative to PayPal. Like Square, they have also been around for a long time. Stripe is primarily geared towards online businesses. My suggestion is to check out all three and decide which one is best for your business after looking in depth at fees, payment withdrawal options, and more.

I prefer Square to Stripe but I know Stripe will work better for some people’s situations.

COMMUNICATION TOOLS

Free Audio & Video Calls

Skype is oldschool, but it’s still around and widely used today. Skype allows you to call other Skype users for free over audio or video, making it a great tool for every entrepreneur to have in their collection. Skype is a great way to video conference with your clients in a professional manner.

Skype is an oldy but goody. Avaliable for free on almost all devices, it’s a “no brainer” to have a Skype account set up for your business.

No 2

Free Audio & Video Calls

Discord is the hip new kid on the block when it comes to audio and video calling. While Discord is for the “cool kids” of the net, it is an awesome free alternative to Skype that is a bit less laggy and buggy. I myself have noticed the call quality tends to be better on Discord versus Skype.

If you are someone that likes keeping up with the trends, Discord is the option for you.

Free Audio & Video Calls

Zoom is the conference calling application specifically used for business. While it does not have as large of a user base as Skype and Discord, it is by far the most professional option. A fair warning though – most of your clients will be on Skype or Discord (not Zoom.) Zoom is a great way to make a very professional impression with your clients.

I like to think of Zoom as “the LinkedIn” of conference calling software.
